Cross Country Race 3 at Manaccan

24th January 2017

Thank you very much to Mrs Brown for organising the third race in the Keskowethyans Cross Country season.  Huge well done to our pupils William G, Lily, Henry R-K and Evie for taking part in the cross country race this week - see the race report below from Mrs Brown.

Mr Martin, Lead Teacher at Manaccan sent the following message, requesting a special mention of Henry R-K  as he had noted that Henry ‘went out of his way to run around with one of the youngest competitors, supporting and encouraging him, true sportsmanship!’.

Mrs Brown's Race Report

Well done to the 19 runners who took part in our 3rd Keskowethyans cross country race to start off 2017.  It was so lovely to see so many smiling faces despite the chilly breeze. You showed great determination and it looks like there will be quite a few endurance medals for those children who have run 4 or more races. It also looks like there may be children who are aiming to win all of their races! The league tables have been sent to your schools, so you can see where you and your school stand.

Thank you once again, to  parents, grandparents and staff for your continued support. It is so lovely to hear so many positive comments!

Our next race will take part at Grade Ruan rec ground at the end of February. This will also include a KS1 fun run.  A letter will be sent out closer to the time.   Lorraine Brown
